Archaeologists in Training!
Last week saw the beginning of Year 3's adventures into the Stone age and Iron age, beginning with an Archaeological dig. Each student was welcomed into Archaeologist training camp, exploring what an Archaeologist was, their importance in regard to history and how they could classify artefacts that they found. It proved very successful! Not only did the teams follow their training but we managed to find some spectacular items from the stone age. We classified these together and then discussed what the possible uses of each artefact was. I was incredibly proud of their team work and enthusiasm. Well done to all our budding Archaeologists!
