Musical education at Shacklewell aspires to provide children the opportunity to learn, experience and perform using a wide range of musical instruments.

We offer an ever expanding range of performance opportunities to enrich our pupils’ musical experience and to evoke a love for the performing arts.

At Shacklewell we teach music in accordance with the National Curriculum and incorporate technology in our lessons to enhance our pupils’ musical learning. Our pupils are able to practise their musical skills in our newly refurbished music centre and are afforded a wide range of instruction including guitar, piano, drums and voice. Our staff are focused on providing children with enjoyable musical experiences, nurturing confidence, social awareness and self-esteem.
