    Dear Shacklewell Community,

As we approach the end of term, we can reflect on our successes, including the routine high-quality lessons taught day in, day out, resulting in significant pupil progress and strong assessment scores. As a school, we can also be proud of our commitment to enriching the lives of our pupils beyond the academic and this has been especially true this term. Children sampled classical music at the Barbican, explored treasures at the British Library, and travelled south of the river to discover the Horniman Museum. Special recognition goes to Year 3 for their enriching two-week swimming experience. The growth of the children’s confidence with the various different strokes was down to their excellent attitudes and behaviour. Our approach to enrichment allows families to come into school to share their wisdom and knowledge on a range of topics, including the various faiths in our community. Thank you for all your support to ensure that the children at Shacklewell receive a memorable education.
