This week year 4 started their new history topic- Anglo-Saxons.

Throughout the term the children will be focusing on the Anglo-Saxons and to start the topic with a bang the children created their own brooches.

After researching traditional Anglo-Saxon designs, the children designed their own piece of jewellery. The class then demonstrated their creativity by engraving their own patterns onto tinfoil. 

They were understandably proud of their great creations.
