This week in Aqua and Sky class we have been learning all about our school and local community. We have explored different types of maps and learnt how to draw information from a simple map. The children have shown particular interest in different London Landmarks, especially Big Ben and The Gherkin!

To extend our learning, our core text has been The Everywhere Bear. The children have made bear hats and re-enacted the bear’s journey. And the fun doesn’t stop here - we have even made our own maps from home to school, including landmark junk modelling and aerial views of London!
